Shelley Borcher’s oil paintings share the rich ranch life in the Eastern Sierra Nevada mountains and valleys. Regularly painting studies on location allows Shelley to experience the richness of the moment and capture it for future reference. Combining these various studies is the basis for the dynamic compositions of works completed in her studio. Her border collies are always at her feet helping her relive those shared moments outside.
